Dear Randy,
Hi, I had a wonderful time when we went out with
you. My Husband easily got me out of my wheelchair &
onto the boat. We threw the foldup wheelchair on the
boat & away we went. I would definately recommend this
for disabled people. I loved it! This comes from
someone who has done plenty from a wheelchair-from
getting dragged to the top of the Acropolis to going
to the jungles of Africa & New Guinia. I want to thank
you for a great time. Sorry I haven't got time to put
the pictures online right now. I'll try when I have
more time.

Hello Randy,
Many thanks for that unforgettable airboating trip on the Everglades.
Magic carpet ride might come close to that :-)
I thought I'd send you some photos from our trip, hopefully I'm not
overloading your mailbox too much though.
Thanks again and best wishes for the future from the Ojanen family!

Thank you for a
fabulous tour of the Everglades! My parents and I enjoyed our airboat
ride and were amazed at the number of alligators we were able to see. I
hope all of our pictures will give it justice.
Again, many thanks! I have already forwarded your e-mail address and web
site to a couple friends, I hope they will schedule a tour with you
soon!

It definitely isn't
your typical tourist attraction. Many thanks again
from Pam, Ted and our tour director, Erika.

Hey Randy,
Just wanted to add our 2 cents to the Survivors' page. You took us
(Michele & Eric) out on Sunday, May 16th, for one of the best adventures
ever! We can't say enough about YOUR outfit. What an amazing time!!
Eric, being the out-of-towner, and me, being the local, equally enjoyed
our tour. I think all native South Floridians should take the time to
escape into this other world due west of us. I have done the commercial,
jam-30-in-a-people mover tour, and it DOES NOT EVEN compare to the
Everglades you showed us. We saw only 4 gators on the commercial,
tourist-trap tour the entire time! We saw umpteen with you - up close
and personal! Gotta love Mo! And we're not ones for getting toted to a
gift shop on some island. The 2 hours we spent with you was well worth
the money and I
would (and have)recommended you to everybody I can
think of.
And as for you, Randy...you are a great guy besides a great tour guide.
We enjoyed your personal touch and stories...that's what makes it
interesting!Eric is already talking about a night tour with you when he
comes back in town.
If anyone is reading this and is contemplating spending the money on
this, DO IT!! In a
word...AWESOME! The other tour company may be cheap, but you get what
you pay for. Thanks for the amazing time!! We'll be back
Michele...and Eric.

Hey Randy,
Hi, how are you? I'm the guy who was on the motorcycle and met you @
MM35 last week...
I took a sunset ride with you exactly a week ago today; it was a great
experience! Seeing the little camps and trails was really cool. I've
talked to people who've taken airboat rides with other outfits, and they
do not show folks the same places you do; you show folks the 'other
world' that is the FL Everglades, and you introduce them to that other
world. Not only that, you give folks the history behind the area, how
things came to be, etc. That is what makes a tour with you a special &
memorable experience. When I'm down there again, I'll be calling you for
another airboat ride...
I used the word, 'experience', and I used it deliberately. I not only
got to do something neat (ride an airboat), I got to know another world.
That is what the Everglades are, another world. Between the natural
wonders, the trails, and the camps, it is another world there. Seeing
things from afar, I would have never guessed that that other world
exists, let alone got to know anything about it. What makes your tours
an experience is that you introduce people to that world.
I told my brother, who lives in Coral Springs, about you. He liked the
sound of your tours. He's talked with friends who've taken airboat
rides, and they weren't like mine. If he and his wife have the chance,
they'll take a ride with you-hopefully soon.
I'm out of here. Thanks for a really great experience! Even though I was
sick the last couple of days in FL (I'm better now as I write this),
your airboat ride was one of the highlights of my vacation. If all I did
was the airboat ride with you during the vacation, it would have been a
good vacation. If I'd taken an airboat ride with one of the
'tourist-trap' outfits, I don't know if I could have said that. Thanks
for a great experience! Take care & God bless.

Hello Randy, I would like to thank you for the
terrific boat tour that you gave us. It was a once in a life time
experience that we always wanted to take part in.
We wish we could have stayed in Florida longer,
but my work is in Germany.
Once again, thank you very much, and be safe out
there.

also, our girl in Hollywood, Jennifer.

Hey Randy,
I speak for all of us Joe,Laura,Mark,Neil and I,
Cheryl, when I say that we had a great time and found
your tour very educational. I never thought the
everglades to be so full of life and beautiful. We
went on the half day tour and it flew by. We saw
sights and experienced the glades like I know no other
tour provides. Just wanted to sincerely thank you for
a memorable experience and highly recommend it to
everyone, of any age.
Thanks again ---- The Yoopers from Upper Michigan

Randy,
Please forgive me for taking so long to get back to
you. Our time in Florida was a well needed break.
Unfortunately, as soon as we got back, it was like
being hit by a Mack truck. Our time on the River of
Grass with you was truly the highlight of our break.
We thank you.
Attached I am sending you a few of the many pictures
we took. If you want more of them, let me know. I
have and will recommend Grass River Adventures to my
friends and others. It is truly the only way to
experience first hand the beauty and grandeur of the
everglades of Florida. By the way if you are ever in
Michigan, look us up.
Thanks again,
Msgr. Bill

Hey Randy –
On 2/19/05 you took me and two of my friends out on
your boat for a tour of the Everglades. We just wanted
to thank you for an unforgettable experience. Both my
friends are from Memphis, TN and have never
experienced anything like this at all. Being a new
resident of Florida, I also wanted to experience all
of what South Florida had to offer and I have to say
you far exceeded our expectations!! Taking us off the
normal trails into territory that bigger boats
couldn’t access along with the educational value you
added made all the difference. We’ll definitely be
back for a night tour.
Thanks Again

Hey Randy,
Well, for all those reading, my wife and I were a
little nervous going to the "swamps" of Florida with
our near three year old boy...guided by a "stranger."
To say the least we All had a tremendous adventure. In
fact, my boy was so worn out by all the fun that he
fell a sleep on the way back to the shore. He also
tells everyone we see about Moe the alligator. From an
adult's perspective, the trip was safe, economically
reasonable and fascinating... with some of the most
beautiful, unadulterated nature I (we) have ever seen.
Randy was kind and willing to do whatever we wanted
re: the trip and with our son. It is something that we
will do again (guided by Randy, of course) next year
when we visit Florida....Thanks a bunch, Randy! (I'm
trying to figure out how an airboat will do in
Pittsburgh rush hour traffic.) See you next year...

Randy,
My friends and I joined you for an adventure that was
truly amazing! I didn't really know what to expect,
but you took us back in the swamp and told us about
the plants and the wildlife and showed us the amazing
camps (I still want to spend the weekend at that rich
guy's place. Can you work it out?). It was the most
fun I've ever had in Florida, or maybe in this
country. My friend Jason suggested it and both
Christy and I thought it sounded like fun. None of us
were the least bit disappointed! I haven't seen the
photos yet, but I'm sure I'll have them soon, and I
can't wait. I've told everyone here in DC and friend
in NYC about it. Everyone wants to go. So make time in
November, you might be booked for days when we all
descend on you!
Thanks for a marvelous day! You're the best!
Sarah
P.S. Please email the photos you took of us, I
would love one of the group on that fantastic boat! |
